2. What do you know about learning disabilities such as ADHD or dyslexia? Do you
know anyone who has a learning disability? Do you think a person with a learning
disability should receive more time to complete tests or less homework than a
person without a learning disability?
my response: I have a friend named Gabriella who has dyslexia. I can tell you what she feels like. Because I go over her house on certain days after school. On the 1st day of school she told me,"I can't wait to see my teacher." I told her, "Well good luck w/ your teacher." Then we left for class. 3 days later... She came home crying and saying,"Olivia, I just got a new teacher." I then said,"What do you mean?" Then she said,"I got transferred to another class." I was shocked once she said that. I then asked,"Why?!" "I don't know." So we told her mom and she had a fit. She said to us,"Do you know why you transferred?" "No." "Well let me call the school and see what I can do." She called and hung up in just 10 minutes. She said, "Well I'll go to school and see why you got transferred." So she said like 4 minutes later... "The reason is because of your dyslexia, and their schedule." "Well ok.""I just didn't want to change classes."
"Well I'm sorry." Then we went home for dinner. That night they were cooking chicken fried rice. Ooooooohhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was good. But the point is... it's been a struggle for her. Kids make fun of her, etc. So I know what it's like for someone to have dyslexia.
3. In Ancient times, the Greeks had gods for many important forces in their lives --
the sea, thunderstorms, farming, music, medicine, poetry, archery, etc. Why do
you think they imagined many different gods rather than just one? Would this
make life more confusing or less confusing?
my response: I think it would make life harder because then when I need something important, and I have forgotten which god to contact, I have no idea what I have to do just to get what I need. So that is my response.
5. Do you believe in anything that science can’t prove -- such as magic, or ghosts, or
creatures like the Loch Ness monster? Why or why not?
my response: No I do not believe in magic. Because I pretty much know how they do it, and I think it's baloney. But ghosts I so believe in. Because in Pennsylvania I wasn't actually there but I was watching TV when this show about the most haunted ghost places ever came on on the National Geographic channel, when they said "Revolutionary War soldiers used to stay here when they were wounded.""Some even died here." And I was just hooked on for a long time. When it comes to "Nessie" I so believe in her. Sightings have been reported, and I love to study her. So that is my response.
7. You have been granted one magical item of your choice. What would this item be,
and what power would it have?
my response: Probaly a ZUES STONE.
It's powers are you can get anything you want as long as you squeeze it hard enough.
And it's powers are sky like Zues'.
